The Windy City

Eddie and I returned last week from our annual anniversary trip. This year we chose Chicago as our destination. We really enjoyed our visit to the VERY WINDY CITY! It was cold while we were there, which did not thrill me since I have already been cold during this entire pregnancy. More than anything, it was a wonderful get-away for us and a much needed break.
We spent one afternoon at Navy Pier. It was the first city we would actually consider taking our kids to at a young age. Even now, there were tons of things for them to do.

It was a little difficult for me (the Houston Astros fan) to see Cubs and White Sox "stuff"everywhere!!! But, the sports fan in me had visiting Wrigley Field at the top of my list.
We happened to arrive on March 15th and that same day they dyed the Chicago River green for St. Patrick's Day.

Hey Kim,
Its been forever. I think project was the last time I talked to you. I was looking at your pictures and just had to say that I was in Chicago that same day, crazy. Tell Eddie we said hello.
